Travel 101: Your guide for enjoying in Magnolia, Texas!

For the uninitiated, Magnolia is a small town located in southwest Montgomery County, Texas. If you are looking for an escapade in the state that isn’t as crowded and offers a secluded charm, this could be the ideal choice. Known for Texas RV parks, Magnolia has some really nice resorts, and you will love the ambience of your stay. That said, here are some of the top things you can see while you are here on a trip. For anyone who wants to take a road trip to Texas, Magnolia should definitely be on their list of stops.

  • Don’t miss Magnolia Farmers & Artisans Market. This was opened in 2009 and since then, this is an event of sorts on every 1st and 3rd Sundays of a month. Between 10 am and 3 pm, you will find farmers selling farm produce at the most amazing prices. If you are a fan of organic things or grass-fed meats, this is where you need to head. Artisan shops sell some amazing products handmade to perfection, including soaps and jewelry.

  • Head to Lone Pint Brewery. This is one of the most sustainable breweries you will come across, because nothing in the production is actually wasted. The taste of the ales here is worth spending on, and we promise you will like the journey, as well.
  • Enjoy some golfing. For golfing, you can head to High Meadow Ranch Golf Club. There are practice areas for those who want to work on their game, and you can also take lessons. There are also packages available for newbies, and the beauty of the area is beyond words.

Other things to consider

Unity Park is a great park for those who want to explore nature and wildlife. The park is spread over an area of 30 acres, and you will find a skateboarding park and a court for playing tennis, as well. If you are coming with the family, the park has a playground too, and Unity Park also organizes special community events from time to time. In the evening, head to The Magnolia Stroll, where you can enjoy a jog, or eat one of the restaurants that serve good local fare. It is connected to the market for farmers we mentioned and also to “Sullivan Park” that’s equally popular.
